1)Omega Speedmaster, to service and replace chronograph button, 250.00. Result was the button was too large, the watch was not pressure tested. Mr Cheal said the watch was designed for space and if it was sealed the glass would pop off at altitude. This is total nonsense.
2) Omega Speedmaster, ladies. for service as it had stopped, 60.00. Stopped after a day at home. Mr Cheal suggested I send the watch back so he could have a look. In view of the Speedmaster experience I decided not to do this.
3) Tissot dress watch, service 60.00. Watch looked ok but gained about three minutes per hour before stopping after about 8 hours.
All three watches have now been sent to the manufacturers, although since they have been opened by a third party they may not agree to service them.
