Mark Purcell (BMW Specialist)

What fantastic service, thank you, I couldn't have asked for more. Having contacted North Oxford BMW about a vibration coming from my X1, I was told that there was a 2 week wait for an appointment (with no courtesy car available - an appointment with a courtesy car would take around 2 months), an hourly "diagnosis" charge for the problem to be identified, followed by the cost of repairs. Ringing around to see if there were any other options, one of my local garages recommended Mark Purcell to me as BMW specialists. When I rang, I was asked if I could bring in the car the same afternoon, which I did, and they diagnosed the problem pretty much immediately (with no charge), explained it to me and talked me through the options, advised on the cheapest and best (which was much appreciated as I know nothing about cars), ordered the parts, and squeezed in an appointment for me the next day to carry out the repairs, which were completed by midday. Phenomenal service at an incredibly reasonable price, and really nice guys to boot! My only regret is not finding them sooner - I've already booked in my next service :-).

Honestly, found them through a search because dealerships and other "specialists" were awful and couldn't make my handbrake release fully. The dealerships and specialists would spend weeks and charged well over a grand each. I was just fed up and was resigned to having this issue forever. So I thought, sod it, maybe this small specialist can somehow find a solution... It was a last ditch attempt to save my car. They did it for 100-ish and in a day and I've never had the issue again! And now it's the only place I take my car. They'll even tell you if your car doesn't need the work or if there is an alternative but will respect your decision. All the prices have been massively lower than any other quotes I've had too. Also, what they quote never goes above without a call to you and sometimes I get there to pick up my car and the price is lower because they found a piece that didn't need replacing. I would trust their advice and work over any other specialist and way more than dealerships. They've even checked my car when I was worried about my suspension for free. These are real, honest mechanics with real deep knowledge of BMWs. Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake replacement
