Today (30th Oct)is the last day of open in this season. The view from the top of the tower was spectacular. Lovely friendly staff guided us. They made our day so special. Thank you very much. We'll visit again next season. Highly recommend for tourists who visit Beccles.

It costs 2.50 per adult to go up, its owned by the people of Beccles according to the guide which is why it is open. The bells if in need of repairing, get lowered down through bit trap doors in the floor and ceilings. Last time this was done was is 2012, according to the guide, 10 bells in total, which the church manage. Lovely climb up to the top, its quite a few floors up so pace yourself, it gets more and more narrow up at the top and the view from above is wonderful. I had a fantastic visit and the guide on the roof has lots of interesting info and facts about the tower.
