Best Fish and Chips in the UK.
Ask for a large cod. Perfectly cooked and succulent. Friendly staff, no stress. They give you a bleeper which bleeps when your order is done. Popular with the locals and the visiting river boats on the Quay.
My only gripe is they don't have Onion Vinegar which would make the place perfect.
(They also do Chip Butties) The chips are perfectly cooked and whole, not bitty like some other places. I did ask for onion Vinegar but they don't do it, why not, all they have to do is buy a jar of pickled onions and there's your onion vinegar, they could even sell the onions, it's a win win situation? But hey...
