It was cosy and the large outdoor space was nice for watching the activity on the river. Sadly, its very close to a busy road bridge which somewhat spoils the peace and quiet of the river.
The pod was well equipped with most things except we had to buy a large pot for cooking as there was only a tiny one available. An instruction manual for the cooker would be helpful to have.
We hired a day boat which was great for exploring the river and so relaxing. It would be a nice gesture for people staying to be offered a discount on the price of the boat hire. Great to have parking and Wi-Fi included and the boatyard is well maintained.
Good choice of restaurants and takeout places in town and good river side walking.
