A very relaxing and peaceful trip to the Locks Inn from Beccles Lido. Efficiently run and very friendly and knowledgeable skipper. Booking advised to avoid disappointment. We saw kingfishers, swans and ducks. Perfect for all the family!

A charming trip. We took the boat up to the Locks pub and walked back via the Angles Way. We saw about 8 kingfishers flying about during the journey. It was delightfully peaceful. The ferryman was polite and informative.

Lovely trip along the river on the Big dog ferry, great pub at the end and a fine walk back to Beccles. Only suggestion to make it a better experience would be for a chat along the way from the skipper telling the history of the area and the importance of Beccles together with a talk about the wildlife on the river

Thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip with to The Locks Inn and we were certainly blessed with the weather. We were also very lucky to see three different kingfishers en route. All over too quickly! Thank you .
