Thank you John for helping us to adjust our behaviours to help our border collie understand what we require of him. Very supportive, with clear instructions, and hes showing much improvement now. Very reliable and on time. Merlin says thank you for sorting my mum and dad out, they needed it !

Our experience with John was amazing, we had a few issues with Fudge and slowly but surely with Johns advice were making great progress and Fudge is improving every single day. John explains everything thoroughly and makes it easy for you to learn how to communicate in a way that Fudge will understand, couldnt recommend him enough!

It all makes sense when you meet with John. His pragmatic, sensible and effective approaches to training us to train our puppy are working. John's knowledge is second to none and we'd highly recommend him. Well worth the 120 mile round trip we make.

Highly recommend John he is clear and informative while also reassuring that we are on the right path. Progress is clear as day with each session and more than fair prices. Excellent trainer and knows what he is talking about, my pup has a really good bond with John and is always excited when he comes. 10/10 all around. We have been working together for a few months now and have done a lot of work getting my Dutch Shepherd on the right tracks but not only does he train the puppy, he is essentially/mostly trainjng me. As mentioned before each session I am seeing progress, lots of patience and doesn't beat around the bush, if I make mistakes, he corrects me and shows me what I am doing wrong and what I should be doing all in a respectful way. 100% recommend, thanks John for all your work and look forward to carry on working with you.

We were having problems with Teddy when out walking. He would stop whenever he wanted and run and bite my ankles when I didnt go the way I wanted to. I was getting quite desperate about the situation so started researching a dog trainer. I found the Dog House site with John the best as I liked his attitude towards dogs and their owners. John came for a first visit and after meeting Teddy told us that Teddy was not a pack leader and felt he would be happier if we gave him boundaries. John patiently showed us what to do when he was restless during the evening and after persistence and consistency there is an improvement (although I cannot growl like John does!). When John came for a second visit he noted there was an improvement and then started on some obedience training. Teddy is definitely changing and is much more relaxed and calmer and indeed is better when out on his walks. Obviously there is no magic wand for an overnight situation but certainly feel we are getting there. If you have any problems with your dog, do not give up and think you cant cope ... just Call John. He really is an expert with excellent and sensible coping strategies. Thank you John and I look forward to your next visit. Must go .. have got some training to do!!
