        Beechfield House is a good hotel for a countryside retreat. There is a fantastic heated outdoor pool and grassy gardens to walk around. It is close to Chippenham and not too far from Bath for day trips. Staff were very friendly and engaging in conversation. The dinner menu was varied, however the food was not always up to the standard I would expect at a 4*. Overall it was a very good place to visit, the highlight being the outdoor pool.
