Dorset Forest Garden Glamping

Staying two nights in the Novelist. Location to die for, beautifully kept and furnished, the hut is what all Glamping aspires to be. Felt completely private without being isolated, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. If you have an astronomer or star-gazer in your life, the window -to-the-stars above the bed is a wonderful touch as well. Will definitely look to return. Food & drinks: The Ollerod in Beaminster (10 mins away), and the Brassica Mercantile in the square for its deli.

Just came home from a weekend in the artisan hut, absolutely loved it, very quiet and peaceful, our host met us on arrival, showed us around and then left us to it, the hut is well equipped with everything we needed, the log burner kept us toasty, less than a 30 minute drive into Lyme Regis and about 40 minutes to Weymouth, I only have 2 negatives and there personal, 1, theres no outdoor lighting, a few solar lights would of been good, and 2 I struggled to get the temperature of the log fired hot tub correct, and theres no pump in there so its basically a large bath, but still worthy of 5 stars, will definitely be back
