Very, very overpriced food. For that price, we expected a taste experience second to none. But just got the none. Pleasant serving staff, nice decor. Pity the standard of the food doesnt live up to expectations. Certainly doesnt live up to the prices charged Food & drinks: Avoid eating here

My wife and I visited a few months ago and had a lovely meal so took family for dinner. The service was a bit slow and the food not as good as we expected. The scallop starter was ordered to share by two couples in our group but no extra plates were provided and although delicious it was just two scallops in their shells with the sauce, we had to ask for bread to soak up the juices. The fish and chips were excellent but the bacon loin disappointing. The peas pudding was over salty and the Savoy drowned in sauce. Underwhelming for a venue that is supposed to be special. The whole evening was a bit of a disappointment so we left early. We are very aware how difficult it is for the restaurant industry in the UK but if you charge premium prices and then add service, you have to be judged by your own standards.
