We arrived at Beadnell bay on 22 12 21 and took our dogs on the beach , it was cold but not freezing . We got to our cottage by 4pm as agreed with the owners. All was well until we entered the property. We had no heating, only partial electrics working ,no television , no kettle to make a cup of tea etc, we were not amused and got straight onto th owners. We waited for maybe an hour and a plumber showed up who struggled to solve th problem , then a manager who agreed to get an electrician who managed to get the heating working but not the electrics . it seems there had been storm damage following storm Barra and the power had been damaged and cut off . It took until the second day of our Holliday to get us up and running, but eventually we were back to normal. The manager had suggested moving us to another property but none were available, so with power and heating we all settled in. To be continued -
