Better Birth Company

I joined Donna's pregnancy yoga classes at 16 weeks and they were fabulous. She was very welcoming and it felt great to complete some exercise safely right up until my due date. The classes are well organised and include a short section on sharing birth stories of previous woman who have attended the classes. The exercises are varied, but familiar enough to pick up quickly. The class ends with relaxation and breathing techniques for labour. I found this class extremely useful and made some great new mum friends!

I did pregnancy yoga and hypnobirthing with Donna (Better Birth Company). I had terrible sickness and some back and pelvic pain but yoga really helped and I just so enjoyed coming to class each week I really miss it now! The hypnobirthing sessions were so informative and definitely made my birth such a positive experience. The sessions taught me how to make informed decisions but also to stay calm and centred which really helped with the pain in labour. I would also say hypnobirthing really helps the birth partner too as it teaches them how to support and Advocate for you in labour. My husband found it really helpful and he was an excellent birth partner. If your thinking of yoga or hypnobirthing My advice would be to do it! You wont regret it and Donna is amazing.

I cannot recommend the Better Birth Company highly enough! I attended the pregnancy yoga classes and hypnobirthing course and they were excellent. Donna is so knowledgable and personable and makes you feel completely at ease.

I used the Better Birth Company for pregnancy yoga and a Hypnobirthing course. Donnas yoga classes definitely helped me in the preparation of my birth and I met other expectant mums whose support since birth has been really helpful. The hypnobirthing was the most useful though and I would recommend to anyone anxious about giving birth. Following the course I can honestly say that my mindset changed and my subsequent birth was completely positive and a truly empowering experience. I gave birth with no pain relief and its all down to hypnobirthing.

I started pregnancy yoga with Donna when I was 14 weeks pregnant and it was the best decision I made. I found it helpful having a dedicated time each week to relax, stretch and think about birth; listening to a birth story every class gave me the confidence to face my fears about birth and the changes in my body. Donna helped me with adjustments for pelvic pain during pregnancy and also gave me post-natal adjustments in the post-natal class to aid my physical recovery and compliment the guidance from my post-natal physio. Donna is incredibly knowledgable and the daily exercises she gave me before and after birth helped no end. I found that the hypnobirthing course approached birth from a more positive angle than a lot of ante-natal classes. It got my husband on board as an active participant in labour rather than being a scared observer. The breathing got me through the birth and I tell everyone how much hypnobirthing helped me deal with a variety of scenarios during the birth of my baby.
