The station platform (towards London) contains an indoor waiting room which provides shelter and seats for resting.

After being told my ticket would be valid at Marleybone because of strikes, the barrier wouldnt open, the clerk was quite abrupt and I just got they were wrong as the response to everything, trying to get to Amersham in the rain after paying for train twice and trying to get a taxi.
