I can not speak highly enough of the entire Squirrels Family - and it really is like a family. I was a bit nervous about my daughter starting because she had been a bit upset at her previous nursery - but I knew from my few visits that Squirrels was a very special place indeed. From the moment she walked into Squirrels she was happy. The staff are engaged, thoughtful and caring, it is clearly more than a job to them but a real vocation. I love the mixed age setting and the fact they get outside into the garden every day. Squirrels are brilliant at sharing photos of her with me so I can see what she has been up to when Im abroad with work. It makes me so happy to see her holding hands with her friends and watching what the big girls and boys are doing. I know she is learning lots in a happy and safe environment. We cant wait until she is old enough to go to the farm and Forrest days as we are sure she will enjoy those too! If you want a personal, caring environment that seeks to prepare your child for school and social interaction then I would recommend you see Squirrels as a priority. Ofstead got it right when they classed it Outstanding & first registered forest school in Bucks shows they do things right!

Squirrels is a little gem and we are so proud for our son to be part of such an excellent nursery that takes pride in everything they do. Incorporating nature into their everyday learning is of high value and being nurturing and caring comes naturally. Children learn through play and the detail and effort that is put into preparing daily activities is to be commended! We cannot recommend this nursery more!!! Thank you, Squirrels!

So grateful to have found this treasure of a Nursery! The staff here go above and beyond with the little ones and have helped my daughter grow in confidence and independence over the last year to prepare her for School. I've loved that theres been a high staff to child ratio compared to other settings, which has meant much more attention being able to be give to each child. The staff are so kind and caring, they are keen on finding the children's qualities and strengths and help them to thrive in this! Each week are new and engaging outdoor activities, relating to the changing seasons and weather which my daughter has loved! After dropping my daughter off at Squirrels, I have always come away with a real sense of peace knowing she is in the best hands (which I didnt have previously at busier Nursery settings). Theres a real sense of each childs worth, value and individual importance at Squirrels. My daughter has loved her time here and I know she will treasure the special memories. Thank you so much to the Squirrels Family

What a lovely place for little ones! My eldest went there so it was an easy decision for me to enrol my younger one there without a thought. Squirrels provides children a really solid foundation - lots of nurture, a sense of security, fun and learning. The ladies are highly qualified, incredibly caring and incorporate lots of outdoor activity/nature into the day. My son has really thrived, especially from being outdoors. Wooden kitchens, sand pit, play structures like slides with little buckets and pulleys, seed planting, watering, bird feeding, counting and picking fruit are just some of the activities that form part of their day - what a brilliant way to utilise their energy and get their imagination going. High staff-to-child ratio, hot lunches, large outdoor garden and a warm, welcoming environment tick all the right boxes. The ladies are so caring - you know your child is in really good hands. Could not recommend it more!

If you want your child to learn independence, curiosity, creativity.... to be fit, healthy, and have so much fun they don't even know they are learning then this is the place for you! Our twin girls started at Squirrels' Forest school just before they were 3yrs old, and have never looked back. Their resilience, agility, imagination, and love of the outdoors is such a credit to the staff there. This isn't just a few hours in the woods, this is full immersion... a whole different world!
