Very helpful. The staff showed me how to get exactly what I needed and spend half of what I thought I would have to. This has become my go to diy store.

Store has a wide selection of goods at competitive prices It's a shame that in a nearly empty store, the staff push past, are unhelpful, and seemingly can't give more than 1 word answers and just play on phones

Terrible service in this branch of Leyland based on my experience of both visits there. I wont be returning after my second, and last, visit today. 1st visit: Tried to buy a sharp tool and when supplying ID for proof that I was over 18, I was told that I needed to be over 25 to buy the tool. Despite explaining the Challenge 25 law doesnt prevent me from buying the tool if I can prove Im over 18, they still refused. I am 24. 2nd visit: When I was next to be served at the till to buy a single item, I was promptly ignored for a good 10 mins when someone who had prearranged a visit walked in off the street, jumped the queue and was immediately greeted and served. A long queue of people gathered behind me while the second member of staff (who was the person serving me in the first visit) disappeared. It would have taken them 20 seconds to scan/pay for my one item but instead I left without purchasing anything. I wont be returning when there are much better hardware shops down Queensway who actually acknowledge customers and understand simple age requirements for purchasing items!
