Bawtry's Pizzeria & Steakhouse

We visited Bawtry pizzeria and steakhouse on a Wednesday night.. there weren't many people eating so the atmosphere wasn't great, but I would put it down to being midweek The venue itself is really nice, great decor and very quirky. My partner and I ordered the Andys sharer, and this was very disappointing. It advertised garlic mushrooms and they come breaded. The breaded wasn't stated in the menu, and it was mostly processed deep-fried food. To follow that, we had the chicken pizza with blue cheese. It also had onions and jalapeos. The base was really soggy due to the amount of toppings. Although it did taste nice. Service wasn't great, we had to ask the waitress where our drinks were and she said "oh sorry" so clearly forgot us. I don't think we will visit again in a hurry, and if we did, I think we will try a steak. They have a very good selection of steaks on the menu.

Lovely little place staff friendly, food average so think it's expensive for average had pizza bland topping but base was fine , onion rings under cooked had soggy mushy batter . Wouldn't go back food equally as average at a cheap chains like green kings or hungry horse but cheaper.

Excellent eatery, great choice of dishes, restaurant has an amazing vibe. Food and service was exceptional.
