        Lovely quiet holiday. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Dinner we couldn't fault. Good selection of menu. We will return Rooms: Excellent facilities. Lovely view across the lake. Great to see the peacocks an6baby geese. Fan in bathroom very noisy. Needs attention

        Rooms: Lovely room we had, but the suites looked really good Nearby activities: Battle was only a 20-minute walk away or a 5-minute drive Safety: I felt safe there, although I couldn't see any security on late at night early morning Walkability: Lovely walks, especially the walk around a large lake, beautiful

        Great place to stay and relax. The grounds are wonderful to stroll around, taking in the lakes and woodlands. Stayed in a small, but perfectly adequate room with it's own door opening out onto the views of the pretty pond and gardens. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice. It's a great place to use as a base to explore the historic town of Battle and Pevensey Castle and coastal towns.
