School Cottage is such a great place to stay. We have just returned from our 5th visit here, and cant recommend highly enough. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for self catering. The location is perfect too. Within walking distance of Battle train station, Battle Abbey and the High Street, which has numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. There are also some lovely places to walk close by. Ann is the perfect host and makes you feel so welcome. Dont hesitate to book, you wont be disappointed.

Ideally located: All the main attractions of the historic town of Battle, its Abbey and the Great Wood are within easy walking distance.
Overall, an excellent value and a worthy base for people interested in exploring the local East Sussex area and its many attractions.
