(Translated by Google) There is not much to see, but much to experience. The Sancta Sanctorum of the Battle of Hastings, the place where King Harold is believed to have been mortally wounded and where the kingdom changed hands from the Anglo-Saxons to the Normans. Of course this is one of those places where you have to get there prepared to be able to see and hear what you can't see with your eyes and can't hear with your ears.

An interesting area, sadly there's very little left, if anything really, just the outline of the building made up of gravel pathways, the audio guide is essential to learn more about this area, plus the guide book helps too.
