Started out well but went rapidly down hill. Not great communication or getting a call back despite calling and emailing them repeatedly to find out when the handrail would be delivered. ASG agreed they would send the item within a few days which did not happen, only to have the product arrive 4 days late and damaged. When rejecting the delivery the the owners daughter Natalie became unreasonable and very unprofessional and put the phone down on me. When i called back i was told she left the office as she was too upset to speak with me. I don't write reviews but as this has caused the job to be delayed and also has now stopped us opening the shop up as we need a handrail in place for building control to sign off, I thought i would share my experience

ASG Fabrications have just fitted glass balustrade to my patio. I couldn't be happier. All involved were friendly, helpful and professional. The final finish is exactly as I imagined it would be.

Unfortunately having to respond to the false review we have had left below. Jon Harrison of King Rock Ltd requested a Saturday delivery and we were more than happy to oblige. This would mean our customer needed to be at the premises between the hours of 8am - 6pm as he had not asked for a timed delivery. When our courier attempted delivery there was no in at the premises. Despite using the phone number we had given the courier for Jon there was no answer. Something we found a regular occurrence whenever trying to contact him. Jon did not let us know until the Tuesday afternoon that his order has not arrived? We contacted Tuffnells immediately, and they did apologize for not attempting delivery Monday/Tuesday. The courier then reattempted delivery on Wednesday pm however Jon, refused the delivery as he informed Natalie in an extremely vulgar manner that the delivery was damaged (upon receiving the order back this information was indeed false, yes the outer packaging had a few mark on it, but the handrail/components was packaged so well inside was the order was fine.) The customer no need to refuse the order. Jon rang Natalie to inform her he had refused the delivery, and he wanted the exact same order re-sending for Thursday am. Our courier collects all orders/parcels in the am so unfortunately this something we could not accommodate but we would of course send it the very next day for an am Friday delivery. Whilst trying to explain this to Jon, he became very abusive on the phone and began swearing at Natalie, this made her very uncomfortable in which she did put the phone down him. He did ring back and spoke to Maria, in which he asked to speak to her boss, (myself) I am currently on maternity leave and then he asked to speak to the owner. Maria informed him that the owner was on holiday and he was in fact Natalie's father. She explained to Jon that Adrian would not be happy with how he had chosen to speak a member of his team in such vulgar unprofessional manner. I find incredibly disappointed that Jon has chosen to Slander us over google review, you only have to take a look at our 1500+ positive feed backs on eBay to know that we pride ourselves in our customer service, and we would go above and beyond for any customers, such as opening on a Saturday so customers can collect orders, at no financial benefit to us. I have reported the review to google and I am hoping that it will be removed in due course.
