Trip planned for brothers stag do to Amsterdam and Groupia could not have done more for me. Easy to plan and my travel organiser Poppy taking care of multiple changes of plans regarding group numbers, activities changes and transfers. Fantastic service and would really recommend.

Groupia were great to work with and made organising a stag-do for 15 people really easy and enjoyable. Tom and Stephanie came back with venue and activity options quickly and customised options for some members of the group who were not able to do everything. Once on the stag-do everything went to plan and all companies used were very helpful.

I had planned and wanted to book a hen party so I was recommended to use Groupia by a friend who used them before, for the booking. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with them at all from actually carrying out the booking, to the hen weekend itself and afterwards. The customer service was appalling, slow and, when I contacted them about the problems which ensued, I had several different group leaders allocated to me which has caused a lot of inconsistency in the complaint. Our party paid 2,748 for Groupia to book us accommodation and a meal at a restaurant which we subsequently discovered was not a pre-ordered meal, which purely a table booking was not stated at the time of the booking and any other activities we had to find and book ourselves. On the second night of the hen do, the property in which we were staying was burgled (Im aware that this was not Groupias fault that this happened) but this resulted in the police informing us we could not stay in the property and had to find alternative accommodation. I was unable to get hold of Groupia at 2am and, therefore, and, as there was no other accommodation available at that time of night, our party of 12 had to find some way of getting home. All of us had to get a two hour taxi ride home which, as you can imagine, cost us a lot of money. After complaining to Groupia, they would not give us any refund from the night as we did not stay in the property for the second night nor would they give us any compensation. They advised me that the landlord's insurance would cover any of the costs, but the landlords have also refused to acknowledge the claim. I wrote a letter to the CEO of Groupia and they are still refusing to take any responsibility for the night we were unable to stay in the property or the taxi fares home in the early hours of the morning to ensure we reached home safely and are stating that every person needs to claim through their own individual travel insurance. I would not recommend Groupia as it has caused more hassle and stress than it was worth and cost us a lot of money! This company is very poor value for money and offers no protection. Be warned!
