Great place great outdoor in good weather

Lovely setting and nice staff however the food is very overpriced for its quality and the service is incredibly slow. We have been several times hoping that things would improve however it has always taken about an hour to receive our food without any apology from the staff for the wait. The food is then very average for the price they are charging. Recently we had the pie of the day meal and decided that the "tesco dine in for two deal" would have been preferable - much better value and very similar if not better quality food. We have had a very nice roast dinner there but unfortunately feel let down by every other meal we have had there due to speed of service and quality of food for the price.

Perfectly set, very comfortable, authentic gastropub with friendly staff. Ideal for Sunday lunch. Only small downside is they cant do the burgers medium rare due to health and safety.
