Oyster - though being a titular, should be taken off of its name. Fish and chips & Moules mariniere - just not as fresh as Id hope

Nice deco and atmosphere, unfortunately thats all the good things I could muster about this place. We felt that the oysters werent the freshest - same with the mussels, which came with a distinctly foul smell. Fish and chips are decent although the fish was a bit mushy.

I recently visited the this restaurant and had an overall mediocre experience. The food and service were both average at best, and I felt that the prices were a bit high for what was offered.

It was ok. Ordered the moules marinire. They just tasted of cream. One sprig of thyme and the onions were hard within the sauce. No white wine, no garlic was an odd combo. The mussels were also all grey and not a vibrant orange/peachy colour (if female). Cream colour (if male) as they should be when cooked. Theyre not as fresh as I thought they would be given they advertise as fresh seafood etc. Ok food with a rather high price tag.
