Good shop, a lot sold out because of Halloween but amazing staff

Shocking treatment. Ventured in today with my husband and son. First time in many years. I wanted to show him what an epic shop it was. The gentleman on the till didn't greet us despite us saying hello. When we walked passed the stairs towards to back of the shop a lady asked my husband very abruptly 'what are you looking for!?'. Her manner was very rude as customers. Once I clarified she had spoken to my husband that way we left immediately. I'm a firm believer in customer service. I genuinely had looked forward to showing him the treat that used to be sixes and sevens. Where I had spent all my pocket money back in the 1990's era. Sadly you would be sorely mistaken to think it's anything like that anymore. Perusing the shelves is clearly not wanted. Unless you have a specific item to purchase don't even bother. We didn't even make it downstairs. Perhaps she was having a bad day. But it's certainly not somewhere my son would be encouraged to spend his money in future.

Amazing shop amazing stock and one of the nicest owners ever rate five stars and as a bonus they even have an apartment above the shop if you book in the apartment you get discounts on the bath sweet shop which is an amazing shop as well, give five stars for both shops and go check both jaw dropping shops for your self
