Chappell and Matthews were excellent for first time renters, especially for us students. Alice was kind and helpful throughout the entire process and made sure that all information was present at every time. The only reason this isn't 5* is because when the times for paying deposits and first months rent came up we recieved no information to send this money through and when I phoned them they said it was due within the next few days which did make money a little tight at the time however this was quickly sorted and the house process was made incredibly easy for us alongside our uni work so thank you all of you and thank you Alice.

Alice from Chappell and Matthews has been brilliant in sorting out our student house for us. We had a last minute change in one of our fellow tenants and she has been efficient in sorting everything out for us so that everything would be sorted before the next academic year. Cannot thank her enough for her assistance especially at this busy time.

Terrible experience. Would give zero rating if possible! My daughter is in student accommodation, house supposedly ready for end of July, all students arrived to find a building site unable to be lived in. Two months rent and electricity paid,will only reimburse two weeks!!! Two months later just plaster on walls and plastic sheeting covering furniture. When contacting an agent at c&m was told not their problem, accommodation was liveable!!! Very, very unhelpful. STAY WELL CLEAR.

Already posted a bad review but we were forced to remove by the company as we were told the issue had been removed. We moved in start of July to find 3 of the rooms not finished and unliveable. We were told these rooms would be ready to be moved in end of August which was a inconvenience but we agreed this would be fine. However, we are almost at October and the rooms are still unliveable and we are due to start University next week without a safe home to be in. We have so little communication with the Estate Agents as they are avoiding taking responsibility for there negligence in this situation. I would avoid renting from them as a student as they seem to put us at the bottom of their priority.
