I cant praise Widcombe Surgery enough. I have recently had some life changing health issues and each and every doctor that has helped me through this challenging time has been incredibly kind and compassionate. They have gone out of their way to enable me to access treatment that until I required it wasnt available at the surgery. I felt very well looked after and cared for. Nurses, phlebotomists and receptionists also provide a friendly professional service. I also have to give praise to Iona on reception. I dont think that I have ever come across a receptionist like her. She has the capacity to turn a miserable situation into a brighter more positive one. She brings about a sense of community by being friendly, smiley and by doing her best to remember patients. She certainly goes the extra mile. I feel very fortunate to have such a professional team looking after my wellbeing. Thank you Widcombe Surgery.

Absolute rubbish, theres no diligence anymore. Its almost impossible to get an appointment. I had to wait 4 weeks for a telephone appointment. Seriously thinking about moving surgerys. Not recommended

On every occasion I've contacted reception they've: answered the phones quickly, been incredibly friendly and always so happy to help forming a really effective conduit between patient and doctor. My experience of all the doctors has been extremely positive, their attitude is so empathetic, really listening and answering questions and concerns. However, my recent experience has to be the most exemplary: contacted reception Wednesday morning, contacted by the doctor a few hours later, appointment made available for me the next day (Thursday) a number of test requests progressed by the doctor and these tests completed Friday morning. Just incredible and very much appreciated - bravo to the entire hard working team at Widcombe Surgery.

Finally! After years of hell at Pulteney Practice, I have a surgery where the reception staff are kind, knowledgeable and professional! The GPs are brilliant so far too but I cant say what a difference it makes to be treated like a human being when you go into the surgery and have my messages and phone calls responded to in a competent and understanding manner. They even proactively followed up my request for a physio referral and made an appointment for me!
