We recently had our roof replaced as it was the original from when the house was built (1930's) we was having problems with damp also the lead flashing was coming away and the ridge tiles was coming loose, I had Robinsons do a temporary repair in the winter to the lead flashing and had them quote for a new roof, I got some more quotes but their price was good and also they had done a roof on my sisters house and she was also very happy with the guys who done it, also I was happy with Adrian who had done a repair previously for me, I'm glad I went with them, the roof looks great he stuck to his price and also when I suggested putting vents in he shopped about to find them at the best price he could. I recently had a leak in my roof & called Robinson's to come out & have a look and give me a quote as I had been recommended by a couple of friends who had used them in the past. I arranged a time and came out had a look at the problem and took the time to explain everything to me and the different options I had. Not knowing much about roof's I was worried that it was going to cost a lot but was very happy when I got the written quote as not only was the price was reasonable but the quote was also detailed, rather than a brief description like other quotes I had had from other workman for other works in the past. They arranged the scaffolding undertook the works & made a nice job, they invited me up on the scaffolding to have a look at what they had done. I bet a lot of roofers don't do that based on my friends horror stories of people they have used in the past! I would really recommend them as not only were they were polite & well-mannered as well as thorough in their approach.
