My wife and I experienced the 'Introduction to Bread Making' course. HIGHLY recommended. We learned so much, had a fabulous time, a wonderful, memorable experience. BIG thank you to Richard, Jen, Laura and Charlie who were patient, helpful and an inspiration. With a fire in our belly's we are on a bread baking journey, feeling proud and smug.

A very useful learning and bread making day....it will change the way I make bread and help me to enjoy breadmaking with consistent results....I hope!

What a wonderful experience . Today I have been on the introduction to bread making day . As a a complete novice it was just as good for me as the experienced bread makers on the course . I learned so much - had great practical experience and came home with plenty of delicious bread to share with my family . No food mixers are used , just high quality ingredients and old fashioned methods supported by Richard . Highly recommended day in Bath .

Did the 2 day cookery skills course and it was brilliant. Everything from knife skills to classic French sauces. Material delivered with great wit and vast knowledge. Plenty of practical practice with ample friendly feedback and assistance. Also, you get to eat what you've prepared (delicious!) with oceans of nice wine. The student group was small and we all had a blast whilst genuinely learning from an expert. If you're hesitating about booking, don't, just do it.

bought Dough book + yeast. Have asked questions which Richard never answers ie how much dry yeast do I use, how much yeast that has been frozen do I use, what flour do I use to make the malty bread etc etc. Was thinking of booking a course but second thoughts now.
