Best Indian food Ive had in England, hands down. Halibut was perfectly cooked, curries were flavorful and richly textured, and service was extremely friendly.

The Mint Room had a perfect atmosphere and polite service. The food was delicious and was presented exquisitely. Whilst waiting for the mains we were brought poppadoms and dips, the waiter described each of these very kindly. The food arrived swiftly and again was excellent. However, I phoned a day prior to going and the person on the phone said everything was halal but didn't sound too sure. I phoned on the day of going again and a different person answered saying only the chicken and lamb was halal. But, after just reading another review they were told that just the chicken was halal. This is my only concern as this is not made at all clear and could be quite a big problem. For a restaurant with such high standards I feel as though this would be clearly advertised. Overall, the experience I had was brilliant and would highly recommend.
