Holiday Inn Express Bath, an IHG Hotel

Unfortunately, due to some confusion over the booking they didnt have a room available for us after a four hour drive. There was an email to say that our stay had been cancelled, but we didnt see this as we were driving at the time it was delivered. Although it wasnt specifically the reception staffs fault, they also did nothing to assist us to find alternative accommodation: despite it being very late and us having a small child (who was extremely upset) to look after. We returned later on in the week, once a room was available and we were overall pleased with the stay, largely because the location was great. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful and made up for the poor service we initially received from the reception staff.

No puedes dormir porque toda la noche se escucha un ruido que nos dijo la de recepcin que era para ventilar los lavabos y que ese ruido estaba en todas las habitaciones.... En fin. Barato y malo. Eso s, Tash, la chica que estaba por la noche es un encanto, amable y atenta, de 10. Lo nico bueno del hotel .

Nice modern hotel located very conveniently by Heathrow Airport. Modern rooms with ample facilities for an overnight stay before flying. Good range of food and drink. The service standards are lacking however with staff often unhelpful.
