Beautiful little hotel, located in central Bath. Only a short walk to most, if not all of Baths attractions. I think the furthest was around 9 minutes walk away (Pulteney Bridge). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and were even kind enough to let us leave our car in the car park before our checkin, so we were able to go and have a little mooch around the town. We had even been upgraded from a Classic King to a Superior Classic King. I was slightly apprehensive to see that complementary earplugs were included on the nightstands, and instantly thought I was in for a noisy night. But thankfully this wasnt the case and the earplugs were not needed! The included breakfast hamper is a lovely touch and the contents were delicious! Now, just because Ive watched too much Four in a Bed in my life, here are a few little nitpicks that I picked out for room 7 - The blinds let in quite a lot of light from the sides, so I was woken about 5am both mornings from the sun shining through. The fan in the bedroom was temperamental to begin with and then stopped working all together. The staff were very apologetic when we told them on checkout though The walls in the bathroom are a wee bit scuffed and could do with a little touch-up. The toilet seat is incredibly loose and moves side to side. The plaster around the towel rail has started to crumble and needs a bit of TLC. The electrical socket on the nightstand closest to the window doesnt seem to be fixed in properly and came away from the wall when I unplugged my charger. Being a gent with a larger frame, it was an incredibly tight squeeze getting in and out of the single shower door This is probably more of a reflection on my post-lockdown physique and less about the facilities All this being said, the hotel and room were spotless and incredibly clean! The bed was really comfortable. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, nor recommend to others! Thank you for a lovely couple of nights stay.
