Some criticism in the reviews are a little harsh. I did not have an issue, all I need is a place to sleep, nothing else and it did its job. Now if you're the type who looks for luxurious hostel rooms with fantastic breakfast service, this is not for you. This is more for those like me who just wants a place to sleep for cheap.

Terrible. We found the only toilet in our floor extremely dirty, when we tell the reception guy about this he informed us that the cleaning lady just left and he was going to tell the night shift about it. Bear in mind this was at 14hs, so there's no cleaning of the bathrooms whatsoever in about 6 hours? Can't get my head around it. Awful. Noteworthy details: Dirty bathroom with no 24hs cleaning service

The weekend I spent with my best gal pal at the ymca bath for her birthday was so much fun and unforgettable! Super value for money, great staff, clean beds, great location, free food . There wasnt a tv but it encouraged us to go out and explore everything that was right on on our doorstep!! Loved the big school style communal shower rooms I felt very nostalgic, it brought memories of the funnest time of my life at boarding school. It was so fun and funny - to have changing room showers again! linen is crisp and clean. Staff sre truly excellent. We had such a great stay plus guy outside selling drugs which my my friend enjoyed
