SKD Loft Conversion Specialists Ltd

SKD completed our dormer loft conversion with bedroom and shower room in Summer 2021. Their site construction team were very hard working and efficient while their admin/management were both attentive and proactive in dealing with queries. Our design brief to SKD involved setting some design requirements that required them to work with our own nominated specialist subcontractors and they were both happy to accommodate this and to take proactive responsibility in the management process. Their trades were also very attentive and proposed certain changes during the works that we feel enhanced the overall design quality. Finally, throughout the course of the works we instructed certain changes which required variations to the contract price. Their process of dealing with these variations was always fair and reasonable and I can say that with confidence as my job involves the commercial management of construction contracts. In short the quality of SKDs work and customer service was exceptional and I would have no hesitation recommending them.

Sam and the team at SKD have just finished our loft conversion and they have done a fantastic job. Really beautiful finish and they were very accommodating when we had little extras we wanted to do along the way as the project progressed. Very efficient and ran to schedule (with the exception of COVID lockdown understandably!) and takes a lot of the stress out of getting a building project completed. Highly recommend!

SKD designed and built a loft extension on our house in Bath over the summer of 2020. From start to finish they were exceptional is all aspects - flexible, great vfm, brilliant team of project managers, builders and craftsmen, work completed early to a very high standard with no hidden surprises. I would highly recommend them as the best building company I've worked with.

Sam and his team recently converted our loft. They did a superb job, were extremely professional at all times and were a joy to work with. We love the finished bedroom! I couldnt recommend them more highly.

I cannot recommend SKD highly enough. From start to finish communication has been excellent. They were really flexible with the last minute changes that we wanted to make and the space we now have is incredible - the job has been finished to a an extremely standard. Genuinely all of the team were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
