        This is a lovely convineamt place to charge just off the A4 and on the short cut to the A36. A quiet.place to.stop and have a rest I on the way. I am looking forward to a stop not in a pandemic when I can try the hotel bar.

        I tried to use the Type 2 yesterday. I don't have a BP Chargemaster card which the writing on the machine suggests using, so I tried using my debit card (it doesnt say on the machine whether this works or not!! So I had to guess! No instructions...). It accepted my card, but when I plugged in the cable, the machine said it wasn't connected properly and suggested I had the wrong cable! I didn't. When I re-tried, by debit card was then not accepted, repeatedly. I then tried using the App, but it kept freezing so wasn't usable. I tried ringing the helpline, was on hold for 15mins and no answer. After 30mins of trying I gave up. Ver frustrating. However I think its great that the hotel, despite being mostly shut in lockdown, is keeping their machine on for people to use. Thats generous.
