I engaged Jeremy to design and draw plans for a man cave. I got so much more than expected. Jeremy has great knowledge of the building industry. This was a real bonus in talking through possibilities. Also, Jeremy fully understands the planning application process, and was able to provide guidance on what may or may not be expected by local councils and authorities. Again, this service is invaluable. Overall, Jeremy is polite, professional and an excellent communicator. Project: Residential Rear and Side Extension with internal reconfiguration plus Loft Conversion, Car Port, Driveway and rear Decking. Jeremy was hired after we spent some time meeting with a number of architects to discuss our building project. We appreciated his ability to be flexible when it came to arranging meetings with us (due to difficult working patterns) and his extremely clear, professional and prompt communication. Every time I called he answered and had saved my name in his phone even before he was appointed (a nice touch!). His pricing was very clear and modular so we could engage him for the bits we wanted him to support. The design process was very collaborative, we had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted but Jeremy offered further advice and guidance which got us to a design which was right for both us and the property. Having looked at many designs on the Planning Portal for BANES I would say his design presentation are some of the most clear and detailed I've seen - its obviously a style preference, but I like the way he set things out and made everything easy to read which has helped with conversations with builders and the SE. His success rate with planning and relationships with the planning informed the design process and other than a minor amend due to Highways (for our driveway) our plans were approved and Jeremy acted as our agent for that part of the process. Total time was 9 weeks from submission. Additionally he also provided us guidance and names of builders and Structural Engineers - one of which we also appointed. Overall I would have no hesitation in appointing Jeremy (Dimension 22) as our architect again for similar projects or in recommending him to others. Thank you Jeremy for all your support to date and for your continued support with our building project.
