My favourite ever salon! I first came to Melanie Giles in 2019 after a horrendous experience with another hairdresser Charley absolutely saved me and Ive been coming back ever since!! Charley is so welcoming and friendly, and so so good at what she does - the highlights perfectly frame my face, and are so intricate and fine that the re growth is truly amazing (during lockdown when my roots grew out, people asked me if I had balayage done!) I left Bath in 2019, but I wont go anywhere else. I love this salon and have been coming back to Charley for years now. Wouldnt go anywhere else! Charley is friendly, professional and a very good hairdresser. She has always offered good advice and I feel like she knows what would work for my hair. All the salon staff are friendly and welcoming and the place has a lovely vibe and decor. Went for a cut as wanted something different and it was more like a Supercut cut in a shopping mall with high prices. When I got there 2 ladies had their hair cut. When I was finished their hair was still being cut. She literally just spent 5 minutes cutting my hair and I looked the same as before. I was so upset I couldnt wait to get out and wont be returning nor would I recommend this salon. The girl (Charlie) made no conversation and couldnt care less. I wanted it shorter and layers. Something new and different. She literally just cut across to take a bit off the length and cut 2 or 3 long layers. I might as well not have bothered. No thinning out nothing. Every hairdresser tells me my hair is very thick. She just couldnt care less wanted to finish as fast as she could so she could head back upstairs. Awful salon. Service: Hairstyling
