I recently had the pleasure of working with Lacey Architecture on a renovation project for my home. From start to finish, Verity provided exceptional service. From the initial consultation, through design and permitting, to the final product, their attention to detail, knowledge and experience was invaluable. She listened to our needs and provided thoughtful, creative solutions that far exceeded our expectations. She was always available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Lacey Architecture for any project, large or small.

Im so pleased we found Verity to help us plan and design a small single storey extension with a reconfiguration of the existing internal space to create a kitchen/diner/living area with separate utility room. A great communicator whos quick to respond to calls and emails, she listened carefully to the brief, was very patient when the design went through various revisions, and had excellent advice and suggestions. The result is wonderful balanced, transformative and far better than I could have imagined. We even built the patio she designed! Should we ever embark on another building project, I would definitely hope to use her services again.

Absolutely fantastic in bringing together a design that was attractive and functional, within my budget. The resulting designs went beyond the new space and helped maximise and repurpose the existing building. I'm especially pleased with the clarity in which all stages of the process were explained to me, and the professionalism that all objections and comments were handled when seeking planning permission. I can't recommend enough, will definitely be using for future projects!

We had a fantastic experience with Lacey Architecture. We came to Verity with a fairly rough idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were hoping to replace our garage and porch while providing some additional form of home office space. We didn't have any well defined ideas of how exactly we were going to achieve it or how we wanted it to look. Verity took the time to talk with us, suggesting a range of ideas, and providing excellent detailed sketches and 3D artwork for the options to help us come to a decision we were happy with it. She also provided really helpful guidance for commissioning drawings from her, the stages of the planning application process and selecting a contractor. The full set of drawings including having a green roof on the garage, as well as additional drawings when our contractors asked for extra details. Part of our requirements were for a sound proofed music room, and she did the research to really explain to us what that would require and identified potential systems we could use to achieve our goal. We are very happy with our finished build, particularly some of the details she suggested that we wouldn't have thought of that really bring the whole design together and enhance the look and feel of our home. We would, and have, happily recommended Lacey Architecture to others.

Verity has been so helpful and supportive in seeing through our single storey rear extension, which has transformed our house into a wonderful family home. She really listened to what we wanted, and was able to take our vision and translate it into a design that needed very few tweaks before finalising for planning approval. The level of detail in the drawings helped us to understand what was achievable in the space. It also provided all the information required throughout the design and build process. I especially liked the way in which Verity outlined and explained each stage throughout the project making something that could seem complicated and overwhelming become simple and achievable. She was also very quick to respond to any emails or phone calls and we were always kept up to date with progress. Having recently completed our project we are very pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend Lacey Architecture, so much so that if we were to have any further work done on our property, we would certainly use her services again.
