    Extremely slow service. Still waiting to sort out transfer of shares after my father in law died. When you get someone on the phone they are quite helpful but then nothing happens when you fill in the forms or write to them as instructed.

    I would give zero stars if I could. Absolute disgrace when advising them my dad passed away 4 years ago and requesting a death certificate for 2 for his shares. When we have informed them on multiple occasions for the tiny amount to go to charity. On hold waiting for a manager.

    Absolutely and utterly freadful company!!! I was given shares by my company which were managed by Linked Asset Services. I sold them via their online service, but I still have not received my money!!! They claim they have sent me documents (I live in Germany) some weeks ago and I am stille waiting for them, asking for some pretty sizeable fee to replace a missing certificate which I am able to pay only by cheque (again - not a UK resident!). They refuse a bank transfer and they refuse to clarify why! Compared to normal online brokers where one is able to execute trades and transfer money in and out of their portfolio in real time Linked Asset Services are stuck in the mid ages!!! I can't wait to complete my business with them, get my money and forget that they exist!

    I eventually found somebody who seemed keen to assist me but still no answer to my shareholding issue which should really be straightforward. They seem like a totally shambolic organisation that sends you round in circles on the phone and do not respond to emails.

    Have spent the best part of a day going round in a loop with promises of help and to be called back. also tried last week when they said they would call me to activiate my account to sell online. there's an alert on it (for no reason) , and they said they had removed the alertbut no call happened. I'm currently on my fourth long call/wait today , spoke to someone who seemed helpful (once again) but got put through to main number just to be put in the loop again. Finally after another hours omeone just bothered to reset my account so it worked, but it is too late now to get money in this tax year, so their inadequate systems have lost me nasses of time and hven't been able top up ISA this tax year.
