not good no one who goes here is any good. a forensic ward which was featured on ITV stay away not a safe place service will improve in time. If people say poor standards of care they were poor examples of people this is forensics they are not good its for criminal treatment.

Beware bourne ward at Kneesworth hospital are now under investigation due to physical injuries to my son and starvation We have proof from A & E thats all I am going to say at this moment If you have family members there , demand to see them in person and not be kept away from them Thats what they want They do not want family members visiting and contacting there loved ones Watch the Kneesworth H documentary on you tube that was filmed last October 2021 Update January 1st 2023 Please also Google simon cohen lost his life whilst at Kneesworth hospital he was only 29 years of age -. Irwin Mitchell solicitor is presently taking kneesworth hospital to court I have now reported what they did to my son to the local authoritys in Royston and I am now going to report to the police A patient who suffers with autism , the staff had no right to restrain my son the way they did forcing him to have an injection causing him bodily harm bruises all over his body and nearly lost his life They did not even call for an emergency ambulance they drove my son there instead He was driven to Addenbrooke hospital emergency with there own transport last March 2022 They never called me either to say where my son was and I only learnt the next day asking how my son was then they told me is was sent to emergency the night before This place needs shutting down !!! Most of staff are the most arrogant I have seen with attitude problems I learnt later after my sons admissions to Kneesworth hospital arranged by NHS referral team in WATFORD most of my sons clothes and personal belongings were stolen Eventually Priscilla the manager reimbursed me for what was stolen and was not by the patients Addenbrooke emergency hospital He was placed on a drip For 10 days due to dehydration and starvation Addenbrooke refused to return my son to Kneesworth instead he was moved back to near where we live Nhs referral team in Watford sent my son to Kneesworth and should be held accountable as well My son is still suffering with PSTD and refuses anyone to get close to him as he will lash out accept me, he has flash backs his mental state has deteriorated since He is still traumatised from this terrible ordeal he suffered in Bourne ward Kneesworth Justice will be done I am devastated what the NHS and Kneesworth Hospital put my son through

One of the worst run hospital that I have been placed under also the there is a lack of mutual respect, privacy, lack of insight into how patients are feeling, not much ward based activitys to help patients, a huge language barrier as they inploy a lot of inexperienced people from different backgrounds which at times is hard to address concerns, so of the other staff members at time seek a reaction from patients than play down the harm caused and overall a just a lack of care. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone who is looking to move or being referred by another provider. If you don't want to just take my word search for kneesworth house hospital on Google for the ITV Documentary this will explain my reasons rasised.....

This place was my worst nightmare come true. I was laughed at, ignored those being the best things that happened to me in that place. Investigations found nothing as my records had been lost this was in 2016 I would hope that things are improved and I have no clue how the place didnt get shut down back then. I had to get an advocate to get me out and thank goodness for his help.
