Guilden Gate Glamping

This glamping site is amazing! Pure relaxation. We turned up at 6pm on Friday, greeted instantly to a friendly face, who took her time to show us around and even helped us carry our things to our exclusive glampsite. The glampsite is lovely and clean, accommodation was clean, as was the hot tub. The potting shed had lots of games and various things you might need for the weekend and you could go in and borrow whatever you wanted. The children loved playing with the boules set and the croquet. The grounds is gorgeous and you are free to explore. We never left the site the whole weekend, the children were well entertained with exploring and of course the hot tub was a big hit. Last but not least the owners were super friendly and remembered the children's names when we did bump into them, which the children really appreciated. Owners let us get on with the weekend and if we did need them were right on hand to ask any questions. Of course we booked straight away for next year.

A really beautiful and unforgettable experience! Jaq and Simon have carved out a gorgeous space in an incredible woodland, and provided everything you need to make the most of it. They were so generous and helped with every detail. Our two young kids absolutely adored it and have talked about missing the hot tub, the camper van, and the woods since we left. We'll be back soon!

We had the best time staying at The Secret Garden, couldnt fault Simon and Jacqueline at all they were the most wonderful hosts and helped us with anything we needed, both prior to booking and during our stay! Really really recommend a stay here for the most magical experience, especially when dusk hits! We will certainly be returning when we can!

We have stayed in the Coppice Woodland at Guilden Gate Glamping several times now and it's an absolute gem of a place! Tucked away in some beautiful woodland it's secluded and there's so much space to enjoy. The sleeping options are brill with the yurt and the camper van, both are cosy and warm. We love eating (and drinking!) round the big dining table, and cooking on the camp fire and pizza oven. It's equipped with everything you need and Simon and Jacqui are just so accommodating, and on hand nearby if you need anything. The use of a fridge in their nearby outhouse is a real plus. The star of the show is undoubtedly the wood fired hot tub, which is great in any weather. Perfect peace and tranquility, and not unusual to see a few deer in the nearby woods and you sit and relax. We are North Londoners and it's only an hour's drive, so we've found it a real treat to escape the city without having to spend hours on the road to get there. We're planning another visit in April, can't wait to go back! With the space you have, the location (near to shops and a pub) and the all round quality of the experience it's very good value for money. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much to Jaq,Simon and family for sharing their beautiful glamping site! We stayed in the secret garden area - and wow! What an absolutely beautiful set up! We were blown away! I booked this two night break for myself and my partner for his 30th and we so-wish we could had stayed longer. From the minute we arrived we felt so relaxed and the surroundings are just so peaceful and fantastically crafted! The little hobbit hole with a beautiful huge bed , twinkly fairy lights above your head , the stunning outdoor kitchen area and large table - again surrounded by twinkly lights in the evening! We made use of the campfire and cooked our meals on there - with the wood provided (so kind thank you ) and the hot tub was a perfect temp for us as Simon had set it up prior to our arrival - so after a day travelling to site it was so appreciated and so secluded we could only hear the birds! We braved the outdoor shower and it was so refreshing! We made good use of the hammock and swinging chair - read our books in the sunshine and it was just perfect ! The hard work and detail that has gone into this beautiful site is just so special - you really feel part of something so pure and refreshing! We wanted a break from the hectic town life we live and we sure got that and more ! We cannot recommend enough and we cant wait to come back with our little girl next time!
