        It's a nice course but the day we played they basically robbed us as it was wet.... unplayable wet...!!! Even a couple of greens were flooded. But cheap and cheerful....some stunning holes especially on the back 9

        It's a brilliant golf course next to a sports centre due to be extensively rebuilt. Lovely views from the golf house terrace and excellent coffee. Great dog walk through the sports centre from the Lordswood gardens car park. Coffee break in the golf house which retains 1930s features and walk back. Brilliant when the rest of the world is muddy because this is all hard standing.
