Bumbling staff, useless waiter and sandwiches we had to put together ourselves. This is the second and last time I have been here, drove out after mothers day in Keswick and was again not impressed. Ordered two cheese and chutney sandwiches at over 5 EACH and they didnt even spread the chutney in the sandwich, it was provided in a tiny bowl a measly serving between two rounds of sandwiches and the cheese was clearly pre sliced from a package. when I asked the waiter (if you could call him that) I dont know! Was the response, side salad was minimal and the dressing so unpleasant I didnt risk more than one bite. This place must make a fortune of poor unsuspecting tourists at those prices luckily I know the area and we went elsewhere for coffee and cake afterwards. Made a complaint to the front of house only to get a very annoyed and rude response. Please stay away if you value your wallet and any sort of quality.

Brunch was lovely following the long walk to the fell peak. Plenty of room outside and inside as we arrived, was getting busy around 12pm. Had the avocado on toast, have to say disappointed the poached eggs werent runny (1st world problems )
