The Bindy Diaries
A fantastic organisation for children aged between 10 - 17yrs. Built on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy, it's a terrific opportunity for kids to achieve officially recognised qualifications in sailing, yachting, rowing, powerboating, kayaking, swimming, wind surfing, engineering, first aid, camp craft, seamanship, drill, mountain biking and plenty more including visits from dignitaries and tutors. They meet on a Monday and Friday night (juniors aged 10-12 just Friday), 7 - 9.30pm and can go away on all sorts of weekend trips. There's also opportunities for adults to get involved and receive similar training to help instruct the cadets.
