Just picked up my van from its first visit to martins after previously being serviced at another southern dealership. I have to say from the start the guys at Martins went out of their way to accommodate me and were super helpful and friendly. Id also like to thank the guys who cleaned my van post service - I know you stayed on late to clean it and I really appreciate it. Martins can do attitude has restored my faith in vw dealerships. Needless to say I shall now be bringing both my transporters in for future works

Trying to place an order for a new van amd despite Martins being a main VW van dealership and saying on website that they will part exchange I have not been able to get a value for my 2 year old van from the sales team. Waited two weeks and chased this but still no response. They say they cant get a price? Is this really a dealership? Isn't that what dealers do ie buy and sell cars? Escalated to VW customer services so now waiting. In the meantime I am unable to place order and Martins not responded. Lead time doesn't start until I place order which is already minimum of 4 months wait! COMPENSATION REQUESTED

Avoid. Purchased a used Caddy with 30k miles, turned out to be damaged and poorly repaired. It has taken my solicitor five months and thousands of my hard earned pounds to simply get the vehicle picked up and refunded. John Hill should start an internal investigation into the quality of used stock his service centre are putting out rather than cop an attitude with fully paying customers over the phone. Shame really, as the salesman David Lyones was a nice guy who did a good job and I would have used him for future purchases. The reply below clearly doesn't take into account the inspection video I received from VW service centre Manchester showing sub frame damage, a protruding headlight, misaligned front end panels, groaning noises when steering and evidence of overspray. Plus, they refused to collect the vehicle from me.

Terrible after care , after having my vehicle for only a few months and being an 18 reg vehicle with low mileage I had a major clutch issue where my whole clutch needed replacing , I contacted the basinsgtoke showroom and had help from Andy who forwarded it on to his manager , clearly his manager shouldn't be in the position he is and doesn't understand about good customer service as despite numerous calls and emails with Andy to try and get the manager to call me I have heard nothing , be very vary when purchasing a car from this showroom as the experience has put me off dealing with both martins and renault again
