Miller & Carter Basingstoke

It was my wifes 40th birthday, when we arrived we were a little hesitant due to the building looking tired and in need of some TLC. That being said, we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in, the interior exceeded expectations. The waiting staff were polite and professional. The food was delicious! The quarter of iceberg lettuce with dressing threw us - it wasnt needed nor necessary. It was also a bit awkward as it was placed in front of my wife 5 minutes before her meal arrived Sat looking at a wedge of iceberg covered in dressing isnt very appealing. Parking: Lots of on-site parking available.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal and wine. Can recommend the 'dirty burger'. Three courses will definitely require a hearty appetite. Alex was an excellent waiter, polite and informative. Will definitely visit again. Only downside was the exterior could do with a lick of paint, aside from that a great place to dine.

Lovely service, staff was very friendly and kind. Food was amazing! If I had my way I would be in miller's & carters everyday! There's nothing you don't need to improve. This is a perfect place to go to! Thanks
