Emma Hewlett Proofreading

I've recently had a website audit service from Emma Hewlett Proofreading, and the depth of insight that she came back with really blew me away. Emma took the time to cover all of the pages on my website, from a number of different perspectives. I had thought it would just cover the text, but she looked at how the website created a cohesive story, the links between pages, the branding, the customer journey. In a really short timescale, she managed to pull out a number of actionable areas for me to improve on which I wouldn't have picked out myself. Sometimes it's just really helpful to get a second pair of eyes, someone that knows what they're talking about but isn't stuck in the detail that you've been bogged down with creating the website, and Emma provided just that. I'll definitely be looking to work with Emma again in the future.

Ive fallen back in love with my website, all thanks to Emma. She has an attention to detail that the rest of us can only dream of :) If you dont know what proofreading is, and you write copy on your website yourself, I strongly recommend her services. Go on, drop her a line. She did a full website review for me and found so many little inconsistencies and mistakes. Nothing major, although I was aghast to see Id spelt step off the merry-go-round as step OF the merry-go-round). It was on the Corporate Forest Bathing page too. Embarrassing. She checked every bit of copy and highlighted the gaps/mistakes, and let me know when links were broken or fonts and colours werent aligned. In some cases, random spaces had appeared. Everything was captured in a selection of easy-to-read-and-action files. Id been working on my website for so long, I simply couldnt see the errors. And Id got bored of checking the pages over and over again. Thank you Emma, now I never have to check again :)
