        Booked an early eye check appointment for my son as he was complaining of headaches and blureed vision. They booked us in and sat us down and we were then told that if nothing had changed we had to pay 25 as a private sight test. We should have been told this when booking otherwise I would have waited

        Boots Basingstoke (Store 3318) Ive been coming to Boots opticians for 18 years. Ive received nothing but 100% personal service. There are always friendly staff on hand to meet your needs. This store is so efficient from start to finish with excellent communication. Would like to thank Carolyn in particular, who has been part of the excellent service throughout the last 18 years! It feels almost as if weve struck up a friendship. Highly recommended!

        Was told a 20 minute wait for help with glasses . 20 minutes later told will be a hour as they were going to lunch . Rude .

        I had an eye test booked today at 2.10pm and I had the text as proof of my appointment. I turned up for my appointment at 2 only to be told that my appointment had been moved to 1.30. Nobody had informed me that the time had changed. Then I was told to just book in for another day as no one could see me now. I literally booked time off work and paid for parking to go to this and its just terrible service. Not to mention the attitude of the person breaking this news to me, she couldnt have cared less. Wont be booking here again :)
