My mother in law is a resident at Marnel Lodge, she is happy and well cared for. The staff upstairs are very caring and treat all the residents like family!

My grandad has recently moved here after a few unsuccessful care homes. The home is more like a 5star resort! I am jealous that I cant stay over! The staff are always so kind and caring and always have time for the residents and the facilities are top notch. As a family we are so happy to have found Marnel Lodge and he is happy to be there. Thanks so much to the staff for keeping him happy and entertained

I am an activity provider, delivering therapeutic art sessions for Marnel Lodge since 2016. During this time I have had the pleasure of working alongside a fantastic team of activity coordinators, carers, receptionists, and maintenance team at the home. It's evident the great care and consideration they have for the residents at the home. They work together with me to help facilitate the art and craft sessions I deliver which are so beneficial to the residents. I would love to see Barchester allocate more of its budget to the activities teams in all care homes, as boosting self esteem, self confidence and giving residents time to be creative and express themselves is so beneficial to physical and mental health.
