We have delayed reviewing the bedroom furniture fitted by Harmony in November in order to assess appearance and performance after a few of months of use. We are delighted to record that everything is just as perfect as it was on the day of installation. The whole process passed without a significant hitch (there was an error on the cut of one wardrobe door which was spotted by the installation team and speedily rectified). We had 3 quotes for the work and Harmony fell in the middle on price but was way ahead on service. From our initial visit to the showroom, where Lorraine showed us materials, styles and quality, Harmony was never seriously challenged by any of the other contenders. Steve visited to measure and advise on how our own ideas could be improved before drawing up plans. It was really very helpful to be able to visit the local showroom to meet again with Steve (ie the same person who had done the original plan) to discuss and agree some adjustments to reflect our further thoughts on the layout. The final quotation included the dates for the installation and the cost and dates for all the structural preparations (we used our own decorator and electrician pre-installation). All the work was undertaken on the day (and time!) specified and in a very professional manner. In particular, installers Ben and Tyler were a credit to Harmony. We felt they were fully immersed in the Harmony ethos and not just following the plan. They were very happy to discuss the mechanics of the installation and work with me to accommodate a couple of our minor requirements (eg positioning of USB charging lead) during fitting. The installation did over-run very slightly and Ben and Tyler had to return for a couple of hours when they addressed, without question, some minor snags we had brought to the attention of the office. One of our bedside drawer units is not fixed and it is when we have moved this we have appreciated the quality of the build no hardboard drawer bottoms or backs of units here. There are many, many reasons we would choose Harmony again but is a few words: quality, local (hence, accessible before during and after), very approachable and obliging, professional and yet flexible in all phases of the project.
