If you're looking to get a good instructor across Basing stoke area, Steve would be definitely in one of the top list. He is very knowledgeable, patience is his key. One of the best part I liked during my lessons with him was the semi mock test we did, he will put that in such a way that it actually will not demotivate you instead that will prepare you on handling the driving test. He is best on his timing as well & more committed than me in making me passing my exams. Unfortunately on the day of tests there was a minor error with the wind screen washer he went early in the morning to garage to fix that only FOR ME so that he doesn't want to me to get a Minor / loose my test because of that, so that kind of instructor he is.!! it was a great learning from you Steve, thanks for that.!!

I've done few lessons with Steve and amock test, and passed my driving test in the first attempt. . It's all because of Steve's brilliant teaching. He is an instructor with exceptional teaching skills to the pupils. His outstanding teaching methods and driving tricks made me confident to be on the road. I also learnt lots of technical, economical and ecological tips that are really important in driving. In my opinion, he is the best instructor... Many many Thanks. Wish you all the very best. I had two lessons with Steve during which I saw a dramatic decrease in confidence and performance. Steve readily told me about the number of times he gets rear ended during lessons & mentioned that should his initial method of teaching fail he has no other approach. He also made a pretty inappropriate joke about me being a "long term customer" when I revealed some mental health information, rather than working with it looking to cash in...disappointing. I do not believe a driving instructor should be involved in this many crashes, I believe that this is likely due to Steve's very jumpy and critical nature as you drive. Constantly lunging for his own controls and horn. Even on deserted back roads. I was also asked to remember the contents of the lesson for Steve, as he reliably informed me that he would forget about my progress by the following week. I took myself elsewhere for lessons and saw an unbelievable difference in how it can feel to be coached through driving. I found maybe the most insidious part of my driving lessons with Steve was him trying to tell me that giving up on one driving instructor to search for a second will further push my driving skills back. Poorly hidden social manipulation that immediately proved itself to be untrue. I felt panicked, frustrated, upset and a bit of a wreck trying to learn with Steve. I am not used to leaving negative reviews, but I have found myself genuinely worried about the other people Steve might be teaching since I dropped him.
